When it comes to your belongings, security is key. To ensure total safety, we keep everything under lock and key and are committed to providing exceptional customer service and unparalleled security for all your storage requirements.
In addition to this, your individual container is locked separately, and kept under the watchful surveillance of our full alarm and 24-hour CCTV systems. With storage only accessible through our loading bay, we watch, record and log everything that enters or leaves.
To access your consignment during storage is easy; simply contact our office to arrange a convenient date and time.

Packing
Full packing, china and glass only, or boxes and tape so you can pack the rest yourself.

Move day
The crew arrive at the agreed time, protect the floors, and place items in the rooms you name.

Straight to the new address, or into a locked container in our Christchurch warehouse.

Questions about storage
What comes to the house, what stays out, and how the building is watched.
Read all FAQsYes. Storage is containerised, in R.H. Pardy’s own warehouse in Christchurch. Where access allows, the container comes to your property on our van, is filled there, and is forklifted into the warehouse. It is not self-storage, and there is no walk-in unit.
Anything corrosive, flammable, toxic or explosive. That includes car batteries, weed killer, paint, motor oil, fireworks and biological waste. If you are unsure about an item, ask before the day.
Each container is locked separately. The building has a Redcare alarm and 24-hour CCTV. Goods enter and leave through the loading bay, and that movement is watched, recorded and logged. The warehouse is ventilated, to limit mould during long-term storage.
