A moving house checklist
The useful checklist is short. Book the survey when the sale is agreed. Decide who is packing. Empty the freezer. Tell us about stairs, parking and anything that is not going.
What is on the list?
Agree the survey: at home, by video, or by contents form. Walk the loft, garage and shed yourself so they are not forgotten. Separate what is staying, what is being sold, and what is being stored. Run down the freezer and defrost it. Set aside passports, medicines and anything you need on the first night.
If the two addresses do not line up, ask about a container in Christchurch at the same survey.
